Certification / Disclosure Checked

Disclosure Checked.

A free first step. We check that an agency’s own website names its registered company, states its commission and publishes terms.

The Disclosure Checked mark: a checklist

Three tests.

The same three tests we used in the October 2026 research.

  • Company. The website names its own registered legal company.
  • Commission. The website states its own commission or payout rate.
  • Terms. The website publishes terms or a privacy policy.

What it is not.

Not an audit

It confirms only what the website says. We don’t review contracts, payouts, account control or how creators are treated.

Not Agency Verified

Agency Verified is an independent audit. Disclosure Checked is a separate mark and looks different on purpose. How Agency Verified works.

Not a ranking

There is no score, list or league table. A website either shows all three or it doesn’t.

How it works.

  1. Opt in only. Nothing is published about any agency until its operator claims the record. We never publish findings about agencies that haven’t.
  2. Claim it. Each agency gets a private claim link. Prove you control the website with a DNS TXT record or a small file on the site.
  3. Go live. The record goes public and you get embed code. The badge loads its status from us, so a copied or lapsed badge can’t show as valid.
  4. Checked every month. If any of the three disclosures disappears, the mark lapses and the record shows “Lapsed.”
