Report a problem
An agency kept your password or payouts, a studio fined you, a contract wasn't what you were told, or a seal looks fake. Tell us. We read every report, and we keep who sent it confidential.
How to report
Email hello@aboveboardstandard.com with:
- the agency, network or studio name, and its website or profile if you have it;
- what happened, and roughly when;
- documents that show it, such as a contract, messages or payment statements, if you're comfortable sharing them.
You don't have to use your name. You can write from a new email address that doesn't identify you.
What happens next
- We reply to tell you we have it, if you gave us an address to reply to.
- We don't tell the agency who reported it, and we never publish your details. We would only disclose them if the law required it.
- If the agency holds the Above Board seal, a confirmed serious complaint triggers a re-audit and can lead to revocation.
- Reports about uncertified agencies help us decide what to look at and which questions creators should ask.
Before anything else: change your passwords, turn on two-factor authentication and check where each platform sends your payouts. See what to do if something went wrong.
