Know your rights / Leaving

How to leave an OnlyFans agency.

Check your contract, protect your accounts first, then give notice in writing. A calm, documented exit protects your money and your account.

  1. Read the exit terms. Find the contract length, notice period and any penalty. Work out the earliest date you can leave cleanly.
  2. Secure your accounts first. Change your passwords, reset two-factor, remove other devices and sessions, and check your email and payout settings.
  3. Give notice in writing. Use the method the contract asks for, and keep a copy and proof of sending.
  4. Ask for a final statement. Ask for the earnings and commission statement up to your last day, and the date you will be paid.
  5. Settle content and access. Confirm in writing that your content and your access are yours, and what the agency must stop doing.
  6. Keep everything. Save messages, statements and agreements somewhere the agency cannot reach.

If the agency does not cooperate

Keep every message and screenshot, do not sign anything under pressure, and consider asking a lawyer who reviews creator contracts. You can report a problem confidentially to Above Board. This is general information, not legal advice.

Questions

Can I leave before the contract ends?
That depends on the contract. Check the notice period and any penalty, and ask for the exit in writing before you decide.
What should I do first when leaving?
Secure your accounts: password, two-factor, devices and email. Then give notice.
Who owns the content after I leave?
That depends on what you signed. Ask the agency to confirm in writing what it may and may not keep using.
