OnlyFans agency contracts: what to look for.

A contract should tell you what you get, what you pay, how long it lasts and how you leave. If you cannot find those four things, ask before you sign.

Term and exit

  • How long does the contract last, and does it renew by itself?
  • How much notice do you have to give, and in what form?
  • Is there any penalty for leaving, or a minimum earnings target to meet?
  • Is the exit the same whether you or the agency ends it?

A fair exit can be explained in a sentence, such as “12 months, 30 days' written notice, no penalty”. A fair exit does not depend on the agency's agreement.

Who owns what

Your account, your content and your name and likeness should stay yours. Watch for clauses that give the agency ownership or a permanent licence, or the right to create copies or AI versions of you without your clear, separate consent.

Ask what happens to content and fan relationships when the contract ends.

Money

  • The commission and what it applies to.
  • Every other fee, fine or charge.
  • When and how you are paid, and the statements behind each payment.
  • What the agency can deduct, and when.

Before you sign

Read the whole contract, not a summary. Paste it into the contract checker, which runs in your browser and uploads nothing, and ask about every item it flags. This is general information, not legal advice; for a binding decision, ask a lawyer who reviews creator contracts.

Questions

What is a normal minimum term?
We do not publish a standard term. Look for one you are comfortable with and a clear exit; a long minimum term with penalties for leaving is a reason to ask more questions.
Can an agency own my OnlyFans account?
Your account should stay in your name with your own login. If a contract gives the agency ownership or control, ask why and what happens when you leave.
What are AI copies in a contract?
Some contracts allow the agency to use your image, voice or likeness to make synthetic copies. Look for that language and do not agree to it unless you want to, separately and in writing.
