Know your rights / Commission
What OnlyFans agencies charge, and what to ask.
The headline percentage is only half of an offer. This is how to read the other half.
We do not publish a “normal” rate
Rates vary and we cannot source a market rate we would stand behind, so we do not give one. What we can do is show you how to compare any offer on the same terms.
Gross or net?
“40%” of what fans pay and “40%” of what is left after the platform's fee are different amounts. Ask which one it is, in writing. The commission calculator shows the same percentage both ways, and what you keep.
What else is charged
- Chatting or management fees on top of the commission.
- Ad, promotion or software costs passed on to you.
- Fixed monthly charges, or minimums.
- Fees to join, or fines for missed targets.
Each of these changes what you keep. Add them all to the calculator.
Questions to ask
- What exactly is the percentage, and what is it calculated on?
- Does it change as I earn more, and how?
- What other charges apply, and who sets them?
- When am I paid, and how do I see the statement behind each payment?
- What happens to the commission if I leave?
Questions
What percentage should an agency take?
We do not publish a standard rate because we cannot source one. Compare offers on the same basis, gross or net, with every other charge included.
Why does the same percentage give different payouts?
Because it can be calculated on different amounts: what fans pay, or what is left after the platform's fee and other costs.
Should the commission be in the contract?
Yes. If it is not written in the contract, you cannot rely on it later.
